Rhodri Gillham
Rhodri joined The Primary Care Gambling Service team in September 2023 as a Non-Clinical Care Coordinator.
While working at PCGS, Rhodri has seen the many ways that gambling presents, in people from all walks of life, and the wider effects this has on their mental health. Rhodri finds the role of a Care Coordinator rewarding and takes pride in ensuring that each patient is handled according to their needs, whether they require therapy, case management, or referral to further support.
Previously, Rhodri worked within the charity sector. This has given him an insight and understanding of how the effective coordination of public health services and outside support can be, for those struggling in the community.
Rhodri has also gained a BA in Ancient and Medieval History from Cardiff University, and an MSc in Late Antique, Islamic, and Byzantine Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
